Running your own business often means that
it is possible to combine hobbies with work;
one such hobby is photography. While at
school, I took a black and white photography
course and was able to develop my own films
and print my own photos in the lab. It was
exciting watching the images appear before
my eyes in the development trays and, although
I haven't been in a dark room in years, the
urge to take pictures has remained strong.
I now use every opportunity to take photos
and my interest in picture making has spilled
over into the web development work that I do,
with many Internet sites filled with the
images that I have taken. Rather than use
chemicals and an enlarger, I now have
electronic dark room facilities in the form
of a PC, scanner and software at my disposal.
